Custom RX-93-v2 [lps] - Hi Nu Gundam Legendary Providence System by GundamerPat. The Hi Nu LPS was one of dozens of Nu Gundam based prototypes that was developed in UC0093 after the heads of Anaheim Electronics were impressed by the unforgettable performance of the parent unit, Nu Gundam, piloted by Amuro Ray. This particular unit is the first of two exclusively developed by the ZAFT Team, a small division of Anaheim Electronics tasked to study alternative fin funnel designs. While this Gundam shares similar specifications with the original Nu Gundam, this system uses an intentionally modified weapons system such as its 15x revised funnel system called Dragoons. It is also armed with the powerful Judicium beam cannon, a composite armed shield system with dual super beam sabers, 2 standard beam sabers, and 4 vulcan guns mounted on the head and upper chest. The system was primarily developed as an effort to further improve fin funnel technology. In fact, a second unit was created called the RX-93-v2 [mss] Hi Nu Gundam Multi Strike System to study other funnel technology designs. Overall, the Hi Nu Gundam Legendary Providence System and its weapon system exceeded all testing expectations. The Nu LPS encountered only one combat operation and it involved a top secret mission to incapacitate a rogue RX-93 variation known as the RX-93-v2 [trs] - Hi Nu Gundam Titans Revival System - a unit secretly funded by Titans Sympathizers. The Nu TRS in its HWS mode was destroyed but the Hi Nu LPS also did not survive the skirmish. With the loss of the Nu LPS, the program was abandoned and members of its ZAFT developing team were disbanded and then reassigned to work on an experimental weapon system designed to "take over" psycho based weaponry. That technology was eventually known as NT-D.
