Custom MS-09x [adv] - Dom Advanced (Final Revise) Fictional Story: MS-09x [adv] or the Dom Advanced was a modernizing effort of the remaining Zeon forces to apply the performance of its latest mobile suits with its aging mobile suit inventory. Due to limited funds, retrofitting Dom was deemed more affordable than developing completely new units0 A unique feature of the Dom Advanced is its quad arms meant to allow the pilot to utilize multiple weapons for maximum offensive capabilities or deploy up to 7 beam sabers simultaneously for maximum cutting probabilities during defensive or offensive operations. Additionally, it features multiple vernier thrusters with an output exceeding the Sazabi. Dom was the 8th of 10 units selected for the program due to its renowned battle performance and popularity with mobile suit pilots. It was designed as a multi-purpose unit. However, the complete fall of Zeon eventually led to the abandonment of the program. Dom is probably my second favorite MS after the Nu Gundam. I can't quite explain it but something about the design captures my imagination. This version uses Sazabi legs and Nu thighs. It looks more fitting rather than the Sinanju Stein version. I also redid the paint and improved the details without turning this to a full rebuild. The result is that it is closer to the build quality of my newer works and future regrets should be minimal once I officially retire from making Gunpla. The original concept of the Dom Advanced was to simply create an updated look of the mobile suit.
